THE LIONEL ANDRADES INTERPRETATION OF VATICAN COUNCIL II IS DOGMATIC, MAGISTERIAL, APOSTOLIC, RATIONAL AND ETHICAL: POPE LEO MUST ADAPT
The SSPX Profession of Faith can be read with the Lionel Andrades (L.A) interpretation. VC2 is traditional and ecclesiocnetric. The blue orthodox passages dominate. The red ones are not exceptions for the blue passages.
The text of Vatican Council II read rationally supports the traditionalists but when read irrationally supports Pope Leo and the liberals.
High Noon after July 1, 2026. Canon and secular petitions will target irrational and dishonest interpretations of Vatican Council II by cardinals and bishops. Reason and tradition support the conservative Catholics.
When Vatican Council II is traditional and aligned with the conservatives how can the SSPX be excommunicated in the name of the Council?
When Vatican Council II is traditional with ‘the blue passages’ not contradicted by ‘the red passages’ how can Pope Leo remain liberal and …

Vatican Appeal Court Upholds Conviction of Becciu Accuser: The Vatican Court of Appeal has upheld the conviction of Nicola Giampaolo for slandering Cardinal Angelo Becciu over his role at the Dicastery for the Causes of Saints. The ruling confirms the Vatican Tribunal's October 2025 judgment, leaving Giampaolo's three-and-a-half-year prison sentence and damages in place. The case stemmed from Giampaolo's claims on the Italian TV program Report that money had been requested to advance the beatification cause of former Italian Prime Minister and personal friend of Pope Paul VI, Aldo Moro. The Vatican has now definitively ruled those allegations were criminal slander.

La notizia di oggi

Why Liturgy Was Left Out at the Consistory

Cardinal Jean-Marc Aveline of Marseille, France, told French daily Le Figaro on June 25 why liturgy was left off the agenda for the June consistory.
Recalling the January consistory, where he served as secretary of one of the French-speaking discussion groups, Aveline said: "At that table, I voted in favor of discussing the liturgy—but I was the only one."
The other French-speaking cardinals in his group came from different countries and did not regard liturgy as a priority.
According to Aveline, a similar pattern emerged in many other discussion groups. As a result, the liturgical question received the fewest votes and was not included among the topics for the June consistory.

‘Admirable Life Of Patriarch Saint Joseph’ by Venerable Mary of Agreda; Chapter VI; ‘MODE OF LIFE OF THE AUGUST MARY …’; part II; pages 108-111

[Venerable Mary of Agreda – XVII Century AD; born/died: Agreda, Spain; Mystic; Writer; ‘Blue Nun’]
St. Joseph never saw his holy spouse asleep. He did not know, from his own experience, whether she slept at all. Her place of rest was the little bed made by the saint. It had . two coverings, between which she was accustomed to place herself to take a brief and light repose.
The under garment of the august Mary was a tunic or chemise, but little softer than woolen stuff. She never left it off, except when it was worn, nor soiled it, and no one in the world saw it, not even St. Joseph. In all her works, and in whatever she did for St. Joseph, the greatest cleanliness was observed.
Before St. Joseph was informed of the mystery of the Incarnation, our blessed Lady, at certain times when he was not occupied, used to read to him from the Holy Scriptures, particularly from David and the Prophets. She explained them like an experienced instructress, and her holy spouse questioned her on many …Doliwat

Whence comes to me such bliss as none could ever have deserved? Why have I not rich treasures, that I might lay them at His feet ?”"

Armenians Accuse Vatican Over Azerbaijan

Armenian leaders from Nagorno-Karabakh have criticized the Vatican for remaining silent about the destruction of Armenian Christian heritage and the forced displacement of Armenians after Azerbaijan's takeover of the region in 2023.
Beglaryan Artak, former human rights ombudsman of Artsakh, told the Substack.com-Account The Pillar (June 26) that the Vatican has failed to defend Armenian churches and monuments. He argued that Azerbaijan has successfully influenced the Holy See to avoid speaking out. He added many Armenians feel abandoned by the Church - although the Armenians split from the Church after the Council of Chalcedon (451).
The criticism targets the Vatican's close relationship with Azerbaijan. Armenians point to major restoration projects in the Vatican funded by the government-linked Heydar Aliyev Foundation and to the 2020 papal honor awarded to Azerbaijan's First Lady, Mehriban Aliyeva.

Slaughter of a nation: EU plans to exclude Ukrainians of military age from EU asylum protection

The European Union famously accepted millions of refugees from other countries at war, the majority of which were military-aged males. Now, those protections will be ending for Ukrainian males who are fleeing conscription in Ukraine.
Magnus Brunner, EU commissioner for internal affairs and migration, announced that the European Commission proposes to extend temporary protection for Ukrainians until March 4, 2028, with the
exception of people fleeing military service in Ukraine.
“To ensure this, temporary protection is not to be granted as a rule to newly arriving persons, who are not authorized by the Ukrainian authorities to leave Ukraine in view of their military obligations,” said Brunner. “This is what Ukraine has asked us to do, and this is what we are doing.”
He added that the European Commission’s proposal “takes into account Ukraine’s changing defense and reconstruction needs.”
Already, hundreds of thousands of young Ukrainian males have died at the front or been seriously …

Run of Saint Andrew: Amalfi's Centuries-Old Tradition. The spectacular 'Run of Saint Andrew' in Amalfi, Italy, is part of a centuries-old celebration honoring Saint Andrew, the city's patron saint. According to local tradition, on 27 June 1544, as the fleet of the Ottoman corsair Khayr al-Din Barbarossa threatened Amalfi, the townspeople prayed for Saint Andrew's intercession. A violent storm scattered the enemy ships, and the city was spared. Each year on 27 June, bearers carry the silver reliquary bust of Saint Andrew at a run up the 62 steps of Amalfi Cathedral, commemorating this traditional account of the city's deliverance.

“Will You Help Me Find My Schism?”
*Intro*
Yeah
They kicked in the chapel door
Looking for schism
Found a veil, a missal
And six kids eating donuts
Uh oh
*Chorus*
Will you help me find my schism?
I think Rome left it on the floor
They searched the Latin chapel
Then blessed Georgetown next door
Will you help me find my schism?
They said it’s somewhere in the pew
But the rainbow conference got a cardinal letter
And a “Holy Spirit” stamp too
Todos, todos, todos
Everybody come on in
Except the folks with old missals
That’s apparently the sin
*Verse 1*
Cardinal Bob wrote a love note
Said the Spirit would attend
At a conference full of buzzwords
Where the doctrine likes to bend
Cupich sent a greeting card
With a Chicago velvet smile
“Walking side by side,” he said
For about five synodal miles
They got badges, they got lanyards
They got panels on the floor
They got “lived experience”
Beating doctrine two to four
Then Grandma brings her rosary
And whispers “Kyrie eleison”
Rome jumps out …Doliwat

Cardinal Grech: "New Stage in Reception of Vatican II"

The implementation phase of the synod “will mark a new stage in the reception of the Second Vatican Council,” Cardinal Mario Grech warned the consistory on Saturday. He is a 🌈 Cardinal and the Vatican's Secretary of the Synod.
His lengthy speech, which was around 3,000 words long, was published on Zenit.org. Much of it was repetitive, focusing on buzzwords such as listening, discernment, communion, participation, the 'exchange of gifts', implementation, and 'conversation in the Spirit'.
In terms of density of ideas, the speech was low.
The essential message was
• the Synod is not over.
• implementation is the real work.
• synodality should become part of the Church's ordinary life.
• this is the next stage of Vatican II.
Two key sentences were:
"The discernment of the signs of the times, ecumenical and interreligious dialogue, and the commitment to justice and peace become measures of the Church's diakonia."
"In this way, the implementation phase becomes a new stage in the reception …Doliwat

Canon Lawyer, Professor Michael J. Mazza: “Over 80% of the nation’s priests regularly fear being falsely accused, largely because of the lack of due process they encounter the instant an allegation is made against them. Nearly the same percentage of surveyed priests suggested that their bishop would be one of the LAST people they would ever go to for help if they encountered a problem in their ministry. That is a particularly worrisome attitude given the close bond that is supposed to link bishops and priests in the service of the people of God.”

Opinion: The U.S. bishops missed an opportunity with changes to the “Charter”

Bishop Barry Knestout of Richmond, Virginia, chair of the U.S. bishops’ Committee on the Protection of Children and Young People, proposes revised procedures to address allegations of sexual abuse of minors by Catholic clergy in Orlando, Florida, on June 11, 2026. (Credit: USCCB/YouTube/screenshot)
The internet buzzed after the U.S. bishops consecrated the nation to the Sacred Heart of Jesus in Orlando on Thursday. June 11. Catholic news outlets and bloggers mostly raved enthusiastically, while the secular media propagated slightly more restrained summaries. Even President Trump weighed in, saying the action was a “poignant reminder that America has always been guided by the loving hand of God.”
Kudos to the bishops for turning to God for help in troubling times for this nation. But we would do well to consider the many places in Scripture where the prayers of those who ignore the basic demands of justice are not heard by a Lord who hears the cries of the marginalized and forgotten. …

Angelus: Pope Leo Reads, Andrea Monda Gets the …
Among the greetings drafted by the Prefecture of the Papal Household for the Pope was one addressed to the homeless people present in St Peter’s Square to distribute L’Osservatore di strada, a supplement to L’Osservatore Romano.
Naturally, the request came from Andrea Monda himself. A man who does not usually go to the office even on the days when he is expected to be there was hardly likely to spend a Sunday in St Peter’s Square beneath the scorching Roman sun of recent days. But having secured confirmation from the Prefecture that the short passage had been inserted into the text prepared for the Pope, Monda could not miss the occasion. He had to be there, he had to be seen, he had to make his presence visible at the very moment Leo XIV spoke about the costly paper. And so there he was in St Peter’s Square, beside a banner that had cost hundreds of euros, waving his arms about in his embarrassing braces to greet the Pope, who, puzzled …Doliwat

Italian Secular Press Features Roman Mass: Today's front page of Il Giornale gives prominence to the Mass in the Roman rite. Nico Spuntoni reports on growing concern within the Consistory over the situation of the FSSPX, with the headline: "The Lefebvrist Rift That Alarms the Consistory." Alongside it, editor-in-chief Tommaso Cerno devotes his editorial to the place of Latin in the Church, arguing under the title "Why the Future Speaks Latin" that the long-held assumption that Latin belongs only to the past deserves to be reconsidered.
