Preliminary Recourse of FSSPX Rejected: The Vatican’s deadline to respond to the Priestly Fraternity of St. Pius X (FSSPX) regarding its preliminary recourse against the July 2 decree declaring six bishops automatically excommunicated has now passed, notes @Michael Haynes The FSSPX submitted its recourse to the Holy See on July 11. Under canon law, the competent authority had 30 days to respond. With that period now expired without a decision, the FSSPX can proceed to the next stage of its canonical challenge. Canon 1735 provides that when no decision is issued within the prescribed 30 days, the time limit for presenting hierarchical recourse begins to run from the 30th day.

I am leaving Part 1 here The Resurrection of Christ Season 1. Episode 1 And this is the playlist for the other parts. Some are in French and others in Polish further down. The Film The Resurrection of Christ Monk Elijah (Clement, Disciple of the Apostle Peter – Volume III) The central theme of The Apocalypse, the third volume of the tetralogy Clement, Disciple of the Apostle Peter, is the Apostle John’s Revelation on the island of Patmos. Through the prism of such disturbing contemporary phenomena as the new world order, microchipping, gender ideology, heresy, idolatry and occultism, the book explores the meaning of apocalyptic symbols and imagery. One interesting aspect of the book is its prophetic nature. First published in Czech in 2019, the book highlighted dangerous means of global control and depopulation, such as microchipping, vaccination and digitalisation, which became a reality almost immediately in the near future (the Covid pandemic, artificial intelligence). Not only does …Zêde

A fake priest in Kenya managed to concelebrate the Eucharist alongside Bishop John Mbinda of Lodwar before being exposed. Jones Bogonko Onchonga used forged documents to pose as a Catholic priest and “celebrate” Eucharists in several churches. Suspicions arose during a Eucharist on August 9, when Catholics noticed irregularities in his celebration: he appeared tense and left the altar during the service. A photo was shared among local clergy, prompting questions about his liturgical identity. The Diocese of Lodwar later confirmed that he was not an ordained priest, but a married layman and father of two. He now faces criminal charges over the alleged impersonation and use of false documents. According to Fides, police said Onchonga confessed to having impersonated a priest for almost two years. #newsYtokmgfddk
Rev. Michael Pfleger, 77, was reinstated effective August 24 after the Archdiocese of Chicago's Independent Review Board completed its investigation. He is known nationally for his progressive activism. Cardinal Blase Cupich, 77, said the board, assisted by the Office of Child Protection and outside investigators, concluded there was “no reason to believe” Pfleger was guilty of the allegation. Cupich accepted the recommendation and returned him to ministry at St. Sabina. According to the Chicago Sun-Times reporting, a woman alleged that Pfleger sexually abused her when she was a girl attending St. Sabina's school sometime between 1993 and 1995. The allegation surfaced this July, and Pfleger was removed from ministry on July 11 while it was investigated. Rev. Pfleger denied it emphatically from the outset, calling it an “absolute lie.” Under archdiocesan policy, the allegation was reported to police, and the accuser was offered assistance through the church's Victim Assistance Ministry. …Zêde

Cordileone: “Powerful Forces in the West” Are Forcing Their Culture on Africa: Archbishop Salvatore Cordileone warned that Western society has lost its understanding of family. He spoke during the August 22 ordination of 14 priests in Makurdi, Nigeria. “We no longer understand these basic truths in the West, not even what it means to be a family born of a mutual self-giving love of husband and wife,” Cordileone said. He described Western society as increasingly lifeless and self-centered: “Even more serious are the powerful forces in the West that are forcing this on the rest of the world, especially here in Africa,” he said. “Thank you for resisting. I know the pressure is great, especially for national leaders on this continent.”
Archbishop Cordileone in Nigeria: “We no longer understand these basic truths in the West, not even what it means to be a family born of a mutual self-giving love of husband and wife.” “As a consequence, our Western society has become lifeless and colorless with the decreasing capacity for relationship.” “Even friendship, the love of Philios, let alone Agape, has become self-centered.”
Demonic and egocentric: Prevost (powerful forces) mercilessly forces the unsuspecting mortal sinners Fiducia Supplicans (promotion of same-sex partnership) and Amoris Laetitia (promotion of cohabitation and sacrilegious communion) upon them, which lead to hell.

@brhenry The Divine Liturgy is not the question of discipline but lex orandi strictly related to lex credendi. The Council of Trent confirmed the above proclaiming anathemas against sacramental revolutionaries (Canon XIII about the Sacraments in general).
"So, then, if anyone says that the Roman Pontiff has only an office of supervision or guidance, and not the full and supreme power of jurisdiction over the whole Church, and this not only in matters of faith and morals, but also in those which concern the discipline and government of the Church dispersed throughout the whole world; or that he has only the principal part, but not the absolute fullness of this supreme power; or that this power of his is not ordinary and immediate both over all and each of the Churches and over all and each of the pastors and faithful: let him be anathema." Bishop Guido Gallese, 64, of Alessandria, Piedmont, is reportedly set to be removed from his diocese. LoSpiffero.com wrote on August 23 that the Apostolic Nuncio to Italy, Archbishop Edgar Peña Parra, has been handling negotiations over Gallese’s exit following an Apostolic Visitation conducted by Cardinal Giuseppe Bertello earlier this year. Bishop Gallese, who is described as reluctant to leave, had sought a transfer to another diocese, but the proposal was rejected. Archbishop Peña Parra, who previously served as the Substitute for General Affairs in the Vatican Secretariat of State, offered the bishop several possible “ways out.” The solution now under discussion would see Bishop Gallese become ecclesiastical assistant to the Collegamento Nazionale Santuari, Italy’s national network of Catholic shrines. Ansa.it reported that the Apostolic Visitation focused on the administration and finances of the diocese amid controversy over the bishop’s lifestyle. Considerable media attention …Zêde

(November 24, 1713 – August 28, 1784) Junípero Serra Ferrer, O.F.M. was a Spanish Franciscan friar who founded a mission in Baja California and the first nine of 21 Spanish missions in California from San Diego to San Francisco, which at the time were in Alta California in the Province of Las Californias in New Spain. He began in San Diego on July 16, 1769, and established his headquarters near Monterey, California, at Mission San Carlos Borromeo de Carmelo. The missions were primarily designed to convert the natives. Other aims were to integrate the neophytes into Spanish society, and to train them to take over ownership and management of the land. As head of the order in California, Serra not only dealt with church officials, but also with Spanish officials in Mexico City and with the local military officers who commanded the nearby presidios (garrisons). brhenry Pope Leo XIV has appointed Knights of Columbus Supreme Knight Patrick Kelly as a member of the Dicastery for the Laity, the Family, and Life. The Vatican announced Kelly’s appointment on Aug. 25. The dicastery was created by Pope Francis in 2016 to promote, as stated in its statutes, “the apostolate of the lay faithful, the pastoral care of the family and its mission according to God’s plan and for the safeguard and support of human life.” The dicastery is also the Vatican office responsible for organizing the international World Youth Day (WYD).
